Deposits & Payments: Full payment is due 7 days prior to the reservation date for sedans, SUVs and stretch limousines. This payment will be charged to the credit card on file unless alternate arrangements are made. If payment is made by check the check must arrive at our office a minimum of 10 days before the booking date.
The Other Limousine Cancellation Policy: Our policies are straight forward and we stand behind all services we offer. If you must cancel a reservation please give us time to process the cancellation. We are flexible and happy to work with you and your company if you need to change departure or arrival times as long as these changes are made within a timely manner. This policy is subject to change. If it becomes necessary for you to cancel a reservation, the following cancellation policy will be applicable:
For all services: If cancellation is made more then 7 days in advance there would be no cancellation fee. If cancellation is made less than 7 days in advance we will charge client 50% of original price. If cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance we will charge client 100% of original price.
Airport Transfers: All airport pick-ups are Curb Side only (excludes Meet & Greet Service). Meet & Greet Service: Chauffeur will meet you in Baggage Claim area holding a sign displaying your name. There will be an additional charge of $20 for this service. Airport Transfers are Point to Point Only. En route extra Stop charge $20. Clients requesting non en route Stops or Wait Time will void Airport Transfer rate and the service will be billed as Hourly reservation, including travel time. If you cannot locate your chauffeur for any reason, do not leave as you will be charged as a No-Show. Please call us immediately and we will assist you to locate your chauffeur (888) 509 – 9909. There are no other surcharges or hidden fees for airport transfers.
By the Hour Service policy: Customers are billed from the reserved pick-up time until the time they leave the vehicle. By the Hour service is calculated for at least 2 hours period. If for some reason trip lasts less than 2 hours client will be charged full price. If trip lasts longer than original reservation time, charges are calculated by applying the applicable hourly rate. There would be no charges for additional 10 minutes. Fractions of an hour are rounded to next half-hour increment.
Overtime: Be sure to reserve the vehicle for as long as you think you will need it. If you need to extend your rental we will be happy to do so as long as there is still availability, however availability of additional hours at the last minute beyond those reserved can not be guaranteed as someone else may have already booked the vehicle right after your scheduled rental time is complete.
Wait Time: We at The Other Limousine understand your needs and know your day doesn’t always run according to thing called “a plan”, so we design a wait time policy with an industry-leading grace period.
Your grace period is determined by your pick-up location and starts at your scheduled pick-up time. If your grace period finishes and you have not arrived, you’re charged according your selected limos’ hourly rate.
The Other Limousine monitors all commercial airline arrivals. A 30-minute grace period is allowed on all domestic arrivals and 60 minutes on all international arrivals. A 10-minute grace period is allowed on pick-ups other than at an airport. After the grace period $1 per 1 min. of waiting time charges will apply.
When the grace period has ended, we will try to contact you several times. That’s why we strongly recommend to provide an appropriate contact number during reservation. If we haven’t heard from you we will cancel your ride 30 minutes (domestic), 60 minutes (international) and 10 minutes (non-airport) after the grace period has ended. If you do not show up, you will be charged the wait time incurred plus all other applicable fees. If you need to extend the wait time, no problem – just give us a call.
Extra Stops: Extra stops during point-to-point travel will be charged the base fare rate plus $20 in route stops (up to 10 min.). All non in rout stops will be charged depending on vehicle type, wait time and millage. If there is more than one stop or if the one stop lasts more than an hour then the trip will convert to an hourly charge.
Cleanup and Damage Fees: Renter assumes full responsibility for the repair cost of any items damaged inside the vehicle during the term of the rental. Repair cost may vary from $10 to $2000 or more depending on what is damaged. Typical repair costs are as follows: Broken Glass: $10 each, Broken Decanter: $75 each, Spills/Stains: $25-$200 or more depending on extent of damage, Rips or burns on upholstery, roof or carpet: $1000+ depending on extent of damage. If someone regurgitates inside the vehicle there is a minimum $300 clean up fee to cover the extra hours of clean up, professional steam-cleaning of carpets, etc. Severe cases requiring replacement of carpeting or upholstery may run $1000 or more. Excessive trash left in the vehicle will result in additional cleanup fees of $100 or more being charged.
No Smoking: All of our vehicles are No Smoking vehicles. Chauffeur at his sole discretion may terminate the trip with no refunds if smoking is occurring inside the vehicle. A minimum $300 cleanup fee will apply if smoking occurs in one of our vehicles. We will be happy to stop for as many smoke breaks as you need.
No Illegal Drugs: No illegal drugs to be carried or used in the vehicle at anytime. Chauffeur at his sole discretion may terminate the trip with no refunds if illegal activity is occurring inside the vehicle. Police may also be notified.
No Underage Drinking: No underage drinking or underage possession of alcohol in the vehicle at anytime. Chauffeur at his sole discretion may terminate the trip with no refunds if underage drinking is occurring inside the vehicle.
Lost Items: Renter assumes sole responsibility for any and all lost, stolen or missing personal items during the term of the rental. Please be sure to gather all your belongings when you exit the vehicle at the end of the rental. Our phone number for lost and found is (888) 509 - 9909.
Emergency Vehicle Substitution: In the unlikely event that a last minute mechanical breakdown or accident puts a vehicle temporarily out of service The Other Limousine reserves the right to substitute an alternate vehicle (or vehicles) from our fleet or from our affiliates’ fleet. Alternate vehicle (or vehicles) may possibly be different in size or description than originally booked vehicle depending on availability. No refunds or discounts will be given if an alternate vehicle is provided at the agreed upon pickup time.
Child Safety Seats: The Other Limousine can provide Child Safety Seats upon request. However, there is a $20 charge fee for the use of baby seat or booster seat. IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO INSTALL THE CHILD SAFETY OR BOOSTER SEATS. THE DECISION TO USE CHILD SAFETY OR BOOSTER SEATS PROVIDED BY The Other Limousine IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. NEITHER The Other Limousine NOR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SHAREHOLDERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS MAKE ANY WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS AS TO THE QUALITY, SAFETY, SECURITY, RELIABILITY OR TIMELINESS OF ANY RIDE OR TRIPS YOU MAY TAKE OR TRANSPORTATION YOU MAY USE, AND ASSUMES NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY THEREFORE.
